Baltic Home Improvements did an excellent job at our home. Working with their staff was a pleasure. They were very prompt, professional and courteous. Their work was excellent. We will use them again without question.

Very poor job done on my roof. Was lied to by just about everyone that work there. Then they have the nerve to try and put a lien on my property when the insurance company didn't pay them. If they would have, i would have put a lien in their business, home and cars. They think thats the way to deal with people. I never had wet spots on my walls and ceiling. I do know thanks to their complete junk job. They replaced my roof in December, after they said that it would be a bad idea and that they would do some work to give me a temp fix until spring. Just, beware!! They lie, from the salesman, to the office people and the owner himself. I wish i could be writing something positive, but they took advantage of me, by gaining my trust. Please be ware! Nothing positive came from them. I was told by another company that all they had to do was put some more vents in so the attic could breath. They replaced zero of the needed vents that allow a attic to breath. They tried to say it was my insulation. 5 other companies said my insulation is fine. All blamed the work of the new roof . Thank you also for saying I would only pay 2500 out of pocket. In the end i gave them over 5800 out of pocket. Slimball tactics at its best!

Although Baltic was higher in price than others, I decided to go with them. Between the website and Darius’ conversation, I felt he was going to do a great job. My previous contractor used Baltic when my addition was put on and I knew of no problems….so I thought. I was very specific with the colors I was using on the house as we were putting on an entire new exterior. Darius went on and on about how he has access to so many colors of aluminum and his competitors only have a limited option. I really could care less because there was only one color I was looking for. Baltic’s website claims complete customer satisfaction and states “every” nail will be cleaned up…etc. Well, after the job was done, the yard was riddled with debris and nails….lots of nails. I found pieces of old shingles, drip edge, nails both new and old, plastic from the shingle packs and old wood trim which was replaced by an aluminum drip edge which I discovered was the wrong color of drip edge. When I notified Darius of the issues, he immediately denied he used the wrong color but said it added “definition” to the home. Darius also claimed his crew performed a proper cleanup which was not evident in the debris I still have in my possession. I even told him I wanted it cleaned up because I had little kids and he ignored my request telling me it was already done. Darius demanded payment for the job even though the work had not been completed to my satisfaction. Additionally, Darius never called for final inspection for a permit he filed and was advised in writing by the village a final inspection was required, but instead filed a civil suit against me within weeks of his install. When he finally did call for a final inspection, months after filing a civil suit against me, the roof failed due to improper installation. I also learned Baltic failed to install a drip edge on the new addition in violation of the building code, which was overlooked in error by the village when the final inspection was done. I spoke with my old contractor who hired Baltic to install the roof on my addition and was told he no longer used Baltic because Darius is never wrong. I wish I went with the cheaper company, I bet I would have had a much better experience. Unfortunately this case is still in litigation so I cannot tell you the outcome.

Darius gave us an estimate for gutters on Monday and the job was completed on Wednesday. Good price and looks great! Definitely would have them do more work for us when needed.

John was so great to work with and the team installed our roof quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up after themselves as well. Darius was also friendly and I felt cared for throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend!

Baltic Exterior has replaced our roof, a very steep roof, as well as 11 skylights. Each time Darius followed up every day, kept up with his time line and if there was something to resolve he always communicated accordingly. Each job was performed professionally...I don't think you can find better when it comes to professionalism, excellent work and good timeframe and we highly recommen him and would do another job with him without a moment's hesitation. We worked with John Reinhart at Baltic. We had ice damning issues in part of our house thanks to our builder not installing the proper amount of insulation in certain areas and no rafter baffles. John took the time to fully inspect the attic to determine the problem areas. Baltic gave us three different options to solve our issue. We did have another company come out to give us a comparable bid. The Baltic bid was slightly higher, but the description of the work was much clearer. John made himself available to answer several follow up questions. The air sealing, attic baffles and insulation went very well. All work done as promised and on time. Installers took the time to clean up after the install. They even swept up the garage floor to get small bits of insulation. John made a follow up visit to ensure he could see a difference in the temperature of the attic space. It will take a few good snowfalls to know if the ice damning issue has been resolved. We are very pleased with Baltic and will use them again if needed. At least one neighbor has already asked me for their business card. We recommend dealing with Baltic.

Updated review! I have to say. Baltic is a company thar truly cares about their business. A miscommunication occurred (initial comment below) and their front office immediately called me to clarify the issue. A service tech is scheduled to check my roof. I have called a lot of roofing companies. A lot of times they never call back or have a significantly delayed response. I am looking forward to working with Baltic on my roofing project. They ask for a $95 non refundable deposit to have a technician check the roof. It will be applied if you have the repair done. At that point, I will be left to choose whether I have the roof repaired for whatever recommendations they have or lose the $95. Good customer service skills though by the person who answered the phone.

Baltic is amazing and I highly recommend them! They did my gutters and attic and did both great! They are very responsive, thorough. They keep in touch and follow through. The work on both was great and made a difference.

I am very pleased with the work project carried out by Baltic and their super staff. I especially liked working with Jack Gedwill. He worked very diligently with my insurance company to obtain the maximum coverage for my project. He was honest and personable from our first meeting. The crew was fantastic as well. They worked nonstop to complete the project in a professional and friendly manner. Thanks Wally and Casey! I recommend Baltic without reservation for your exterior home needs!

We worked with Darius from Baltic Exteriors to replace our damaged roof. He was recommended by our Farmers agent. He was always prompt and professional. When we called with questions, our calls were immediately returned. He came with everything we needed to make decisions. He worked with our insurance company so we didn’t have to. They finished our roof in a day and it looks wonderful. After, we had some minor clean up things that were promptly addressed. Only a sign of a great company with great customer service. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had our roof, gutters and downspouts replaced by Baltic Exteriors after we experienced hail and wind damage. We could not be more pleased with the quality of work and the professionalism of this company! We worked directly with Jack Gedwill throughout the process and will absolutely call him for future exterior projects. He was wonderful to work with, very easy going, extremely knowledgeable and handled everything for us. Our roof was part of a claim through our insurance company and Jack and Baltic even worked with State Farm on our behalf to handle the questions and claim to make our lives easier. I have never heard of a company doing that before so I was very impressed and pleased to not have to handle that headache myself. The process was easy and the work was completed quickly and with high quality and attention to detail. We also had some minor interior water damage due to a roof leak and Baltic was able to sub contract that work out to a local company they knew and trusted to do a good job. The man from that company did an excellent job as well and you can't even tell there had been any water damage. Walls look new! Very very happy with Baltic Exteriors and highly recommend them for roofing and any other exterior projects. You won't be disappointed!

Baltic roofing did an excellent job on our roof after the big hail storm last year. They were done in one day. Stayed right on budget and kept us informed with the process. Excellent workmanship. Kyle helped us through it all and was GREAT. Darius the owner inspected the work the next day after completion to ensure the roof was done and I was satisfied. The foreman was quite knowledgeable. I noticed my neighbor used Baltic and I called them because of their quality of work. I would highly recommend Baltic for your roofing needs. Excellent roofing crew and a job well done on our roof!
